About the Wesak

Tibetan Wesak Quartz
Wesak is a sacred festival that takes place annually on the "inner planes" during the full moon in the spring. For centuries, it has been a time when Ascended Masters including the Buddha and the Christ bestowed transformational spiritual energies upon the Earth. Great expansions of consciousness are possible because of the blessings of the Wesak! The etheric celebrations are headquartered in the sacred Wesak Valley in the Himalayas of Tibet. The Wesak is also celebrated worldwide.
By participating in a Wesak celebration, you have an opportunity to connect with high-vibrational spiritual energies which are not otherwise easily available. You may want to add to your experience by working with one of the Wesak Tibetan quartz crystals The Council of 12 has activated with the Wesak energies. You can use this crystal in your meditations and inner reflections during Wesak, and in the months that follow, to connect with the blessings of this year's Wesak. Other Worldwide Channelings with Selacia and The Council of 12
Both 2011 Wesak celebrations are available as worldwide group channeling events.
Wesak is an annual celebration with Selacia and The Council of 12. In recent years, the physical location of the celebration has been the Los Angeles area.
Attend either in person (limited seating) or off site long distance (via teleclass live call-in and audio recordings).
Experience The Council of 12's wisdom and healing energies as they lead you in a series of heart-opening energetic processes and a potent channeled guided meditative journey to the sacred Wesak Valley of Tibet.
During this special evening, we will connect with the Masters who have achieved enlightenment. The Wesak is a time when we celebrate the natural Buddha nature of humanity, and receive Wesak blessings for our own enlightenment.
All signups will have access to audio recordings of both the first hour (with live call-in teleclass), and the last hour (with The Council's guided journey to the Wesak Valley with the Masters).
Space is limited for both on site and live call-in participation, so please register early. You and your friends can participate with us from anywhere in the world! Pre-registration and advance payment is required. You are confirmed once we have this, with signups taken on a first-come first-serve basis. Once we are full, we will have a waiting list.
When registering, please indicate whether you are attending on site or via live teleclass. If you choose the teleclass, you will be included in the advance input from The Council of 12, the audio recordings, and have the option of calling in live for our teleclass. If you cannot join the call live, you will still benefit, your energy being included in our Circle of Healing and your being able to listen to the audio recordings later on at your convenience.
As part of our channeling evenings (including Wesak), The Council of 12 facilitates deeper connections with spirit and our spirit guides. They also assist people, on an individual and collective level, in responding with clarity and balance, as we face some of the most challenging times seen on our planet.
When we gather for a Wesak or other channeling, we have
an abundance of assistance from the benevolent nonphysical Masters participating. If you have a particularly troublesome concern in your life, you can intend that this issue be worked
on during the evening. You can set your intention that you receive a healing and more clarity about this issue or other questions. While the channeling evening format does not include a
formal Q&A with The Council, they work with each person present (on site and long distance) throughout the evening, helping with openings and healing. Much of this assistance occurs in
a subtle way, in the background during our processes and even during our break time. Attendees often report that they feel this help continuing long after the evening too.
About our new in-person/teleclass format:
Whether you come in person and participate on site or connect with us live via telephone and audio recordings,
you will have an expanded way to connect with The Council's energies and messages.
Our worldwide format will allow you to connect with us live from anywhere in the world. Anyone who can dial a U.S. telephone number can register to participate with us.
Signups can also receive audio mp3 recordings of our evening's live call-in portion and guided meditative journey process. That means you can participate and benefit even if you are unable to attend the live conference call.
For those who have attended, you can still benefit long after our channeling when you hear and work with The Council's healing energies and guided process.
Timing for worldwide channeling evenings (including Wesak): Whether you can call in only briefly, or stay with us for the entire call-in portion, know that you will benefit greatly from the energies of our evening. To have your energy with us, even for a few minutes at the start, can connect you with what's happening on-site, and then you can ask for a continuation of the energies as you go back to sleep or engage in other activities. Then, later on when we have the audio ready, you can experience the rest of anything you either heard or missed, including the last portion, the meditation. Teleclasses: For those of you new to teleclasses, they are live conference calls via your telephone. For those who register, they receive a call-in number and password in order to gain access to the virtual classroom at the scheduled meeting time. There are no visuals, as you have with some webcasts, but there is audio. Unlike some teleclasses you may have attended or heard about, this class is not set up in a linear framework. Selacia’s work with The Council of 12 is spirit-directed and we don't have exact times for all things. There is typically a scheduled start time, but times of breaks and endings, especially for channeling evenings or other workshops involving spirit-directed process, are approximate only. Another difference is that the worldwide channeling evenings are not simply classes with callers. For these evenings, we also have a whole room full of people participating on site, Anyone who can call a U.S. telephone number can participate in the typical teleclass hosted in the U.S.
Live call-in background: Please note that as with any telephone call, depending on your phone service, long distance charges apply. Some of you have unlimited minutes through your phone company or cell provider. Calling cards, while not generally recommended on conference calls, can be used. If you're calling from within the U.S., you may -- rather than using a calling card -- simply dial 1019898 and then immediately the dial-in number below, preceded by a 1. This number provides for discounted rates when dialing from the U.S. to other cities in the U.S. and abroad. After the dial the number and the phone number of your choice, you will hear a brief recording saying how much per minute your call will be. For those of you calling from outside the U.S., there are a number of free or discounted calling plans. These include Skype with its feature of being able to (for a monthly fee) call unlimited land lines and cell phones within a given territory such as the U.S. or even worldwide. Vonage is another carrier, and although VoIP services typically aren't recommended for teleconferences, many times they work just fine. Vonage is a flat rate, with the service connected to your computer/internet.
General background on the channelings:
During Wesaks and other channeling evenings, we gather together to add our light to the world scene, and to receive from spirit the energetic fuel for our next steps.
The Council of 12 works with each person participating--throughout the entire time we gather in the Los Angeles area--providing spiritual openings, personal healing, and positive energetic momentum. This energetic support is often felt for a number of days before our channeling evening, and for a long while afterwards too.
In general, the channeling evenings are an opportunity to focus on clearing out what we don't want to take into the next phase, and to energize our intentions for creating new opportunities. We want to be positioned positively for what's coming next. These channelings with The Council of 12 help us to do that.
In our group channeling evenings, we have a series of guided processes facilitated by The Council. The evening typically includes some messages from The Council, along with a guided meditative journey.
They assist us in refocusing, connecting with a passion for being here, and gaining confidence in our ability to succeed with what we came to accomplish. The evenings are also an opportunity to connect with other lightworkers, helping us to build a sense of community. In our world peace process, facilitated by The Council, we join with lightworkers worldwide to send positive healing energies to the Earth, and to people all over the planet.

The Buddha
The great ones who came before us — such as the Buddha and Kuan Yin — gave us a blueprint for our own enlightenment.
Since 2000, Selacia has presented The Council of 12's wisdom at Wesak celebrations on both the East and West Coasts of the United States. For example, in 2000, she was a featured presenter at the New York City Golden Wesak. In 2006, she presented a special pre-Wesak evening in Mt. Shasta ahead of the Mt. Shasta 2006 Wesak.
In the Los Angeles area, she has presented Wesak celebrations in both Santa Monica and in West Hollywood.
