The amplified levels of change you have been experiencing these past several months have even been turned up a notch. Since our last message regarding new ways to view the changes, we know that many of you have experienced some of the biggest shifts in your current incarnation.

Your human forms are like the sand in the hourglass. As you began waking up to your divine nature and purpose, the sand came trickling down from the top half, spreading into a thin layer in the bottom half below. The foundation was not at first in place, yet you were becoming increasingly aware that you were not simply the physical vehicle represented by the sand in the top half of the hourglass.

As your evolution progressed this lifetime, the sand quickened its move from the top of the hourglass, forming more of a solid base in the bottom half below. The quickening of your evolution, and the change accompanying this, means that substantial amounts of sand have moved from the top to the bottom.

This Is Your New Home

This is your new "home." You are the same pieces of sand, yet these pieces are arranged differently. The grains of sand in the bottom half are sparkling like brilliantly polished diamonds. They seem to float, one grain upon the others. They are also moving! The grains are vibrating at a much faster speed than when they were in the top half. When we look at them from our perspective, some of the grains of sand appear to be dancing with joy.

There is a lightness to the grains of sand that make up what will become your divine expression here on Earth. You have left behind a much denser form. Like with any move to a new home, these grains of sand in the bottom of the hourglass that are the new you will need some orientation time. So, be gentle with yourself now.

There likely are things in your life, aspects of your being, about which you feel are "stuck" in the top half of the hourglass.

How To Speed The Journey

How do you speed these grains of sand along on their journey "home?" What is required to change the things you feel do not budge, no matter what you do?

First and foremost, it is useful to remind yourself to fully partner with spirit in every area of your life. Perhaps there are still times when you forget to do this. In other cases, there could be situations such as relationships, in which you have not felt comfortable inviting in spirit. There may be some parts of your life, such as the care and feeding of your body, about which you have simply not thought about partnering with spirit.

Relationships

In a relationship, your partner may not yet have consciously opened the door to spirit. If you are in such a relationship, know that this fact does not prevent you from partnering with spirit. Your Higher Self, angelic teachers and other high-level guides are willing and able to work with you in this regard. They will not interfere with your free will, of course, so they must be invited to participate. What you will find when you walk with your celestial helpers is that you are not alone, no matter what happens in your relationship. You will discover that you have an abundance of assistance on all levels, including wisdom about practical matters.

It is important to be open to how the information comes. For example, spirit will likely work with you in the dream state. You may or may not remember some of these dreams. The information you have worked with in the dream state is then filtered into your everyday living experience. You may notice, for example, that one morning you have a knowing of what to do about some seemingly unresolvable relationship difficulty you had faced the day before. This knowing may come to you in a general sense, or in other ways. We on the spirit side are not limited to the mundane! We may speak words of clarity through someone else in your life. We may nudge you to look up as you drive along the road, noticing a billboard with key words meant to ignite your knowing about how to resolve a conflict. We may direct you to pick up a book and guide you to a page on which is written the exact words you need to hear.

When you sincerely connect with spirit and request clarity about a relationship in your life, it is important to trust that a response is forthcoming. It is also helpful to continue a dialog with spirit as your puzzle pieces drop into place. Perhaps some of the information provided is unclear to you, or you are uncertain of the next steps. Keep those questions coming, imagining a dialogue between you and spirit is in motion, and trusting that your answers are being provided appropriately.

Appropriateness also relates to timing. Your celestial helpers have a much larger view of your relationships than you do. Sometimes you express your pain over a relationship you would like to change. You may feel that it is time to move on. You may even request help from spirit in ending the relationship, believing that this will end the pain. A more appropriate request would be to ask that spirit help you to view the relationship from a higher perspective, and to transform it into something more suitable for your evolution. As part of spirit's probable responses to such a request, know that a higher perspective will be forthcoming.

Spirit will also help you to transform the relationship. The timing of when this occurs is not in the human time frame, but in spirit's time. Spirit could know, for example, that you have yet to receive an important teaching from the relationship, a learning that is integrally tied to why you are with the person in the first place. Other possibilities include the fact that your partner may still need a number of nudges from elsewhere in his or her environment before being open to the changes you desire.

Perhaps the final healing of the relationship already has been predestined by spirit to occur a few months down the road, in tandem with a related development in growth. When this occurs, the alchemy can take place over several months or within several minutes. We are not bound by time as you can be. We say this about time because where you are headed, you will move into a timeless way of being that involves a continuous flow.

If you desire change in a relationship, remember that spirit will work with you on transformation, but that changing the other person is not included in the package! The changes you will manifest when working with spirit are those affecting you personally. It is not about changing your partner. Of course, by changing your own view and indeed altering how you relate to your partner, he or she could change as well. What we would like you to focus on, however, are your own changes.

As you transform, like the grains of sand falling to the bottom of the hourglass, you will interact differently with others in your world. Your form will have lost more of its density, and your energetic signature will be forever altered.

Your Body

As part of your alterations at this juncture, many of you are experiencing what we call the spiritual flu. You may have headaches, nausea, and other unexplainable symptoms. Your bodies are being rewired and retooled for this next stage of your evolution. Your light bodies are building and expanding.

As your vibration increases and your form holds more light, you may notice a desire for different foods. Your appetite may increase or decrease. It is important to pay attention to what your body intelligence is communicating. By tuning into your body's wisdom on a daily basis, and then ingesting the foods and nutrition that are appropriate for that day, you will weather the shift with more ease and grace.

Whether or not you are sensitive to your body's current changes, or even aware of them, is not the issue here. The bodies of humankind on the planet today are being transformed. Reconnections between your strands of DNA are being made. Connections are being forged between your physical organs and your etheric spiritual capabilities such as inner sight and inner hearing. These changes are all part of the divine plan, and each of you has played a part in their orchestration from the inner planes. These changes are nothing that is being done to you.

Since we are addressing change and how to effectively affect change from the divine perspective, consider this higher spiritual meaning when you become impatient or fearful. Be gentle with yourself. When you find yourself in judgment about how you should feel, ask spirit to help by providing you with a sense of compassion and patience.

The changes you are undergoing will take varying degrees of time. Not all of the stages will be experienced as painful or disconcerting. Some people are more sensitive, or simply feel more of the changes as they take place. You may sometimes go for weeks or months with no unusual symptoms. It is an individual thing. What each of you has in common, though, is your transformation into a divine being of light. Like the sand in the hourglass, you are shedding your denseness. It is a time of celebration.

As you continue the journey of rediscovering your Divine nature, we surround you with our love and blessings. We are The Council of 12.

It is a joy to be able to share The Council of 12's messages with you in this way. This newsletter seemed to be a long time in the making, this being the initial issue. My journey, like yours, is one step at a time, and it was not until this moment that it was appropriate to take this next step with The Council's messages. They began giving me nudges regarding a newsletter about a year ago, but it was my being in the moment with spirit that led me to the most appropriate timing.

So many changes have occurred in my life during this time. My work and intimate connection with The Council of 12 increases daily. I am looking forward to bringing their wisdom to the UNSRC's Society for Enlightenment and Transformation at the United Nations on May 12, 2000, when I will focus on the shifting power in 2000. I am constantly amazed at how spirit works in my life. One of the recent examples is how The Council of 12 has worked with me to create a logo for my activities, including websites. I had requested their input about an appropriate logo or image for the next phase of my work. They showed me how my new logo will illustrate the universal concepts they have shared with you in this first newsletter regarding the sand in the hourglass.
